Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRPH2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRPH2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PRPH2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPH2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, LUAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where PRPH2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
