Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRPF4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRPF4B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PRPF4B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPF4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.

CESC, ESCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PRPF4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
