The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PRPF40B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPF40B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, KICH, and BLCA are the cancer types where PRPF40B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
