Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRPF4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRPF4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PRPF4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPF4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where PRPF4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
