Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRPF18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRPF18 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PRPF18 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRPF18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PRPF18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
