Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PROS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PROS1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PROS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PROS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PROS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
