Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRODH2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRODH2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PRODH2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRODH2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, SKCM, and LIHC are the cancer types where PRODH2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
