Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRODH RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PRODH data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PRODH RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRODH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ACC show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and UCS are the cancer types where PRODH RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
