Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRNP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,001 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PRNP-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR7-3, ZNF736P7Y, and SPPL2C. Each is linked with PRNP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRNP-to-partner and partner-to-PRNP results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR7-3 grouped by PRNP-low versus PRNP-high in LUAD.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PRNP→partner) and Y-score (partner→PRNP) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
