PRNP

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRNP mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 35 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRNP-associated genes across cancer lineages are FoxM1, MSH2, and c-Met_pY1235. Each is linked with PRNP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRNP-to-partner and partner-to-PRNP results are reported.
