Across TCGA cell cohorts, PRNP RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,565 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRNP-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Negative regulation of dendritic spine maintenance, Proteoglycan biosynthetic process, and Wound healing. Each is linked with PRNP in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRNP-to-partner and partner-to-PRNP results are reported.
