Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRMT5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRMT5-associated genes across cancer lineages are p62 Lck ligand, PCNA, and 4E-BP1_pT37_T46. Each is linked with PRMT5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT5-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT5 results are reported.
