Across TCGA cell cohorts, PRMT5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,956 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Lymphoma shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRMT5-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are rRNA 5'-end processing, Endonucleolytic cleavage in ITS1 to separate SSU-rRNA from 5.8S rRNA and LSU-rRNA from tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA), and Maturation of SSU-rRNA from tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA). Each is linked with PRMT5 in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT5-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT5 results are reported.
