Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRMT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRMT3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PRMT3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRMT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA and SKCM are the cancer types where PRMT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
