Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRMT2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 51 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRMT2-associated genes across cancer lineages are Notch1, eEF2, and MEK1. Each is linked with PRMT2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT2-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT2 results are reported.
