Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRLR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRLR data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher PRLR Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRLR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
SARC, SCLC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PRLR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
