Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRKD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRKD2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PRKD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRKD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, PRAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where PRKD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
