Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRKCA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRKCA data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PRKCA Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRKCA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PRKCA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
