Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRKAG1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,116 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRKAG1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRKAB1, NDC80, and VRK1. Each is linked with PRKAG1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRKAG1-to-partner and partner-to-PRKAG1 results are reported.
