Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRKAA2 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 31 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRKAA2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, GSK-3a-b_pS21_S9, and AR. Each is linked with PRKAA2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRKAA2-to-partner and partner-to-PRKAA2 results are reported.
