Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRIM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRIM1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PRIM1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRIM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where PRIM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
