Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PREPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PREPL data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher PREPL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PREPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PAAD, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PREPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
