Across TCGA patient cohorts, PREPL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,210 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PREPL-associated genes across cancer lineages are GBP5, APOBEC3A, and TBX21. Each is linked with PREPL in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PREPL-to-partner and partner-to-PREPL results are reported.
