Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRDX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRDX5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PRDX5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRDX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and KIRC are the cancer types where PRDX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
