Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRDX2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRDX2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PRDX2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRDX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and COAD show a favorable association.
CCRCC, COAD, and GBM are the cancer types where PRDX2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
