Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRDM9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRDM9 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PRDM9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRDM9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PRDM9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
