Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRCD RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PRCD data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PRCD RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRCD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, UVM, and LUAD are the cancer types where PRCD RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
