Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRCC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRCC data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PRCC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRCC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where PRCC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
