Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRAMEF11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PRAMEF11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where PRAMEF11 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PRAMEF11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and CHOL show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LIHC, and CHOL are the cancer types where PRAMEF11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
