Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PQBP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PQBP1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PQBP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PQBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where PQBP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
