Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP6R3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP6R3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PPP6R3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP6R3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, KIRP, and SARC are the cancer types where PPP6R3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
