Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP6C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP6C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PPP6C Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP6C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SKCM and PRAD are the cancer types where PPP6C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
