Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP4R2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP4R2 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PPP4R2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP4R2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, SKCM, and LGG are the cancer types where PPP4R2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
