Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP4R2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP4R2 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PPP4R2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP4R2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRP, KICH, and STAD are the cancer types where PPP4R2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
