Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP2R2C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP2R2C data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher PPP2R2C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP2R2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.
DLBC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PPP2R2C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
