Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP2CA RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP2CA data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PPP2CA RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP2CA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.
HNSC, LIHC, and PAAD are the cancer types where PPP2CA RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
