Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R9B RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP1R9B data layer compared with 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PPP1R9B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R9B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and KIRC show a favorable association.

MESO, UVM, and LIHC are the cancer types where PPP1R9B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
