Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R3D RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP1R3D data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PPP1R3D RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, UVM, and HNSC are the cancer types where PPP1R3D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
