Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R3A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP1R3A data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PPP1R3A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and LSCC are the cancer types where PPP1R3A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
