Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R15B RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP1R15B data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PPP1R15B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R15B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.
KIRP, KIRC, and CESC are the cancer types where PPP1R15B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
