Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R14C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP1R14C data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher PPP1R14C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R14C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.

THCA and SKCM are the cancer types where PPP1R14C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
