Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R13B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPP1R13B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where PPP1R13B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPP1R13B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and LUAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PPP1R13B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
