Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R11P2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPP1R11P2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where PPP1R11P2 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPP1R11P2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.
PAAD, COAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where PPP1R11P2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
