Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R10 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 10 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPP1R10’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where PPP1R10 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPP1R10 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, HNSC, and KICH are the cancer types where PPP1R10 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
