Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1CC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP1CC data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PPP1CC Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1CC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where PPP1CC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
