Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1CB mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP1CB data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PPP1CB mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1CB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where PPP1CB mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
