Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1CA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP1CA data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PPP1CA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1CA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD and UCEC are the cancer types where PPP1CA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
