Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1M Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPM1M data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PPM1M Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1M expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where PPM1M Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
