Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1K mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPM1K data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PPM1K mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1K expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where PPM1K mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
