Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1G mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPM1G data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PPM1G mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1G expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PPM1G mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
